Until recently, hiring was centralised for most but not all categories of external personnel. Using various non-dedicated software tools, it was difficult for the bank to keep track of the hiring process. The related administrative processes, like contracts and accounting of invoices, could also gain in efficiency by digitalisation. Further on, BNP Paribas Fortis was looking for better ways to make its search for external personnel easily accessible to employment agencies and candidates. This is imperative because it is becoming increasingly difficult to bring in suitable candidates in the current tight labour market.
For these reasons, the bank decided to adopt Nétive VMS. They now have a single, convenient, integrated system for hiring external workers at their disposal. The bank also saw the implementation period as an opportune moment to streamline internal processes.
